Redwood Empire Food Bank
The mission is to end hunger in the Sonoma Community. The Redwood Empire Food Bank is the largest hunger-relief organization in Sonoma County. It acquires food and distributes it throughout a network of charitable agencies that include emergency food pantries, shelters and dining rooms, childcare center, youth programs, group homes and disaster relief, reaching up to 50,000 per month.

Sonoma Academy Scholarship Fund
The Scholarship Fund assists students in the North Bay to attend this visionary, co-ed college preparatory high school in Santa Rosa. In the school’s diverse and inclusive community, teachers help students develop their unique talents and interests so they can succeed in all future endeavors. Valley of the Moon Children’s Foundation
Valley of the Moon Children’s Foundation is a private, nonprofit organization established to provide supportive and educational services for the abandoned, neglected and abused children of Sonoma County. Upon completion of the new construction on housing, dining and medical facilities, the Foundation will expand its support services in four key areas: continued supplemental support in the home, support of emancipated children, support of children in foster home care and community child abuse protection.

Megan Furth Academy
The Megan Furth Academy is a unique educational institution: a highly academic high school preparatory school (K through grade 8) located in the heart of inner city San Francisco. The Children’s Village of Sonoma County
The mission of the Children’s Village is to provide nurturing, stable, family homes in a multi-generational, enriched environment for children and their siblings in foster care. The Children’s Village is envisioned as a place where children in foster care, especially sibling groups, will live in family-style homes staffed by loving “parents”. Parents will be assisted by grandparents who will be the elders living in smaller units on the property and all will be supported by highly trained staff and volunteers.

Voice of Youth
Voice of Youth is the only local enterprise dedicated to broadcasting teen voices. Nowhere else is a local professional media outlet pledging its airwaves to adolescents and their authentic reflections of growing up at the dawn of the 21st century. This project brings teens together for a common cause: taking to the public radio airwaves with thoughtful, authentic reflections of their experience. Together, they gain a respect for the power of language as they learn how to communicate effectively and professionally while staying true to their young dynamic voices.

Catholic Charities Family Support Center
Comprehensive shelter program in Santa Rosa since 1989 for homeless families. It serves up to 130 people daily with shelter, food, medical screenings, employment and housing counseling and other services designed to move families to stable housing. Child care is provided on site at Sister Teresita Children's Center so parents may pursue classes, counseling and training in the evenings. A teen center, community garden and transitional housing units are located nearby.

Roseland University Prep
Roseland University Prep is a small college preparatory high school located in the heart of the Roseland Community. Roseland University Prep opened with 80 freshmen, The Founding Class. Enrollment will increase each year until reaching its final capacity of 350 ninth through twelfth graders in 2007-8. Okizu Foundation
The mission of Okizu is to provide recreational, respite and peer support programs to meet the needs of all members of families affected by childhood cancer. Camp Okizu offers the unique opportunity for children with cancer (and their siblings) to learn independence, nourish positive self-esteem and gain skills they never thought were possible. At camp kids can be in a safe, trusting environment. It is a place for fun, lasting friendships and development of self confidence.
