J. Rochioli, Little Hill
A couple dozen barrels of this amazing wine were
produced from the Little Hill vineyard which swells
above the estate’s West Block. There, the soils are
limited and rocky which imparts a uniqueness to this
wine. Yield: 2.8 tons per acre.
Kosta Browne, Koplen Vineyard
The first crop of fruit from the Koplen Vineyard was in
2002 with a whopping 1½ tons of fruit from 5 acres.
Kosta Browne chose to produce a vineyard designate
wine from this land planted entirely to Dijon clone
667, in the middle of the Russian River Valley on a
fairly low lying area.
Patz & Hall, Chenoweth Ranch
The Chenoweth vineyard was originally cultivated as
an apple orchard on the far western edge of the Russian
River appellation. This beautiful 7-acre vineyard is
located in Green Valley, one of the region’s coolest
areas, and is farmed exclusively for Patz & Hall.
