Sailing the islands of the Caribbean puts you on course for an exhilarating and relaxing arc from St. Thomas to Trinidad. The Leeward Islands in the north and the Windwards in the south make for an impressive array of cultural and scenic diversity. This curved string of volcanic and coral islands are like fine stones set into crystal clear turquoise waters.
Share meals onboard, or take your provisions to shore for dining al fresco. Relax and enjoy some lazy days, but when it's time to step up the adventure, there's plenty more, from exploring tropical forest hillsides and waterfalls, to diving and snorkeling near corals and among fish that look like they just swam out of an animated feature film.
The swimming is safe, the beaches white sanded, and the villages at times both sleepy and bustling. Markets, bars, trendy restaurants...it's all here. Somehow it seems like there's never enough time to break from your routine and head off to an entirely exhilarating experience, like a week-long trip aboard the "Darling." But, once you're on board, well...it seems like time stops and you realize just how much you needed this!
Let gentle breezes fill Darling's sails. Drift lazily across calm seas where rays of sun stream up from behind puffy summer clouds, illuminating your path. The world is your oyster. And the pearl in that oyster is the reassuring luxury of Darling's intimate interior spaces.
Comfortable seating areas combine with three in-suite staterooms (a full width master, one double with a pullman, and a twin) to provide you a "Darling" setting for the vacation of a lifetime.
"Darling" was the seafaring escape for some of the cast and crew of Pirates of the Caribbean II during filming, along with a guest register, since then, of notables who typically make waves in the press every day but have instead climbed aboard to watch the real waves from their spot on deck.
