The Languedoc region has a diverse and complex history. Having been settled by the Greeks, Phoenicians and Romans, to only then be invaded by the Alamanni, Vandals, Visigoths, and Saracens its fair to say that Languedoc is anything but typical. The diversity of the people who have traversed this land over the years created a culture here like no other in France — active, creative, relaxed, and enriched by the countryside.
Montfaucon is a wonderfully restored residence in the oldest part of the town and boasts exceptional views of the river Aude. Elegantly furnished, it offers deluxe accommodations with each spacious bedroom individually designed. Outside is the beautiful town of Limoux, steeped with history and surrounded by castles, abbeys, and cathedrals.
Lassègue is an award-winning, highly acclaimed producer of fine wine in Saint Emilion. The wine blends Cabernet Franc with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon to achieve a unique expression of round delicacy, elegance and complexity.
