There is no force so mighty in the universe of wine, so powerful on
winelists, so welcome in a glass...than The Incredibles. The list of special powers is amazing:
Colgin, with its invisibility — you just can't find it, but you know it's there because people keep applauding its outstanding achievements in wine. But you can see it. To start, there's a huge double magnum of 2004 Colgin "Cariad" Napa Valley Red Wine for the lucky bidder. It's an extremely rare, beautifully etched and numbered double magnum made especially for charitable donation. Then, while this timeless treasure rests in your cellar, you and three guests are invited to a behind-the-scenes look at Colgin Cellars "IX" Estate and its private, state-of-the-art winery.
Arietta, for its super powers and flexibility — Arietta's super powered, hand-crafted artistry arrives in your glass with individual and powerfully elegant styles that evolve from different vineyards. A tour and tasting amid Napa's rolling slopes at Arietta Winery will feature their library wines from 1997-2005, presented by Fritz Hatton (who also is today's caped superhero auctioneer). For your own cellar, escape red-handed with three 3 liters: one Arietta Red Wine H Block Hudson Vineyards 2006, one Arietta Red Wine Variation One 2006, and one Arietta Cabernet Sauvignon 2006.
Chateau Montelena, for its epic strength and staying power — its outstanding story goes back to the 1896 Paris tasting and runs its course through to today. You become the proud owner of a bit of history to prove it: a ten-year vertical, 1995 to 2004.
Radio-Coteau. If you've seen the Pixar movie entitled The Incredibles, you know that the newest "incredible" to arrive on the scene has its own collection of super powers which people are just now beginning to notice. This dazzling wine producer does it one glass at a time, which is the genesis of the name Radio-Coteau itself, a phrase suggesting "word of mouth." And that word is, well...incredible.

Colgin Cellars IX Estate is the newest estate property, referred to simply as "No. 9", based on the fact that it was formerly known as Parcel Number 9 of the Long Family Partnership. No. 9 is rectangular in shape and the terrain varies from gentle to steep hillside. Elevations range from about 940 feet to over 1,400 feet.
Arietta was founded in 1996 by rare wine specialist and auctioneer Fritz Hatton, in partnership with winemaker John Kongsgaard and his wife Maggy. Born of a shared passion for fine wine and classical music, the vinous inspiration for Arietta was an extraordinary 2.3 acre block of Cabernet Franc on the Hudson Ranch in Napa/Carneros.
Chateau Montelena put California on the world map of wine when the "who's-who" of French wine and food gathered for a grand blind tasting to rank U.S. and French wines. Much to their chagrin. when the scores were tallied, Chateau Montelena's 1973 Chardonnay was ranked above all other wines. Today it's a high-ranking, high-scoring wine each and every vintage.
Radio-Coteau winegrower Eric Sussman first heard the expression radio coteau while living in Burgundy. The name reflects a commitment to capturing reflections of soil, seasons, people and place. Radio-Coteau works closely with select cool-climate coastal vineyard sites in Western Sonoma County and Anderson Valley to offer wines with vibrant, balanced fruit and a distinct sense of place.
