Lot #7 - Private Screening and Dinner
Francis Ford Coppola's Private Screening Room
Eight fans of film and wine visit Francis Ford Coppola’s Private Screening Room in San Francisco to view their choice of Hollywood film from the collection kept there.
Dine upstairs at Café Zoetrope and share some Coppola wine.
Four large-format, limited-production bottles from Coppola’s cellars, to take home

Francis Ford Coppola's private screening room in the historic Sentinel Building (circa 1906) in San Francisco's North Beach will welcome eight film, wine, and food lovers for a memorable evening.

Dine upstairs at Café Zoetrope on your choice of Francis' favorite authentic Italian dishes, matched with his Director's Cut series Sonoma wines, then call "ACTION" as you descend to the art deco screening room to view a Coppola film of your choosing - or let Francis choose one of his favorite films for you. Coppola film archivist James Mockowski will introduce the film and lead a discussion afterwards. Wine, dessert and coffee complete this one-of-a-kind cinemaphile/oenophile evening.

When the final credits roll and the discussion is over, you'll head home with a large format bottle of Coppola wine — something specially selected for you by Francis himself.

Please note: Mutually agreed-upon date during 2008-2009.

Directors not only get involved in leading the film crew, but also in seeing the film through its various stages of post-production, including editing and dialogue enhancements, even color correction and musical scoring.

It's only fitting that you enjoy a film from Mr. Coppola's collection, in the same screening room that he may have used to review some of his greatest films.

It's especially fitting because you will also be enjoying and sampling wines produced under his expert guidance. This is your chance to experience Francis Ford Coppola's work on both fronts, as you kick back at the intersection of filmmaking and winemaking.
