MISSION
Lending a helping hand since 2004 with almost $6 million in grants for children in need.
OUR EVENT
Sonoma Paradiso Wine Auction, formerly the Imagine Auction, will be held in California's Sonoma County at the Stonestreet Winery on September 26 and 27, 2008. The nation's top business leaders, philanthropists, wine enthusiasts and celebrities will gather to raise charitable funds for children in need.

OUR VISION
To unite and unleash the potential of Sonoma County businesses, individuals and charitable organizations to make positive change happen for the children in our community.

OUR MISSION
Sonoma Paradiso Wine Auction is committed to taking a lead role to ensure the health, education, welfare and quality of life to the children of Sonoma County and beyond.

OUR HISTORY
The Imagine Auction began as a result of Barbara Banke and Jess Jackson, and Peggy Furth and Fred Furth's desire to focus their family foundations' philanthropy on the children most in need. Both of their wineries, Jackson Family Wines and Chalk Hill, had deeply established relationships with the leading charitable wine auctions.

Together with a group of financial sponsors and a dedicated team of volunteers, the Imagine Auction made Sonoma County history in 2004, topping $1 million in proceeds. Having distributed almost $6 million in only 4 years, the event is one of the top three wine auctions in the nation and has gained recognition for providing necessary funds for its local and regional beneficiaries. In 2007 the event was renamed the Sonoma Paradiso Wine Auction.

GROWTH AND GOALS
The Sonoma Paradiso Wine Auction is a leader in philanthropic wine-industry events, and will continue to build a legacy of success within the Sonoma community, nationally and internationally. The goal for 2008 is to increase the number of children served.

In 2007, Sonoma Paradiso Foundation has partnered with one of the country's premier philanthropic organizations and is a Supporting Organization of the of the Community Foundation Sonoma County.
